Hello! I’m Hayden Anhalt, but in the art and music world, you might know me better as Draphonix. With a decade of experience playing the saxophone and eight years of composing my own music, I’ve deeply immersed myself in the mesmerizing world of sound and melody. My journey as an artist doesn’t stop at music; I have also spent the last five years pouring my creativity into 3D abstract oil painting, creating vibrant, otherworldly visuals that captivate and provoke thought.

Art and music have always been at the core of my existence. Ever since I picked up the saxophone, I’ve been on a relentless quest to push the boundaries of what’s possible, blending traditional sounds with experimental compositions. This passion naturally evolved into a love for composing, where I found endless joy in crafting new pieces that challenge both myself and my listeners.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I’m a dedicated student of computer science. This field fascinates me because it offers endless possibilities for innovation and creation. My ultimate dream is to merge my love for music and technology by developing a unique DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software that features new notation systems. This endeavor stems from my belief that there are always new ways to think about and interact with music.

Outside of my artistic and academic life, I work as a cook. This role may seem unrelated at first glance, but it has taught me a lot about precision, creativity, and the importance of presentation—all skills that translate beautifully into my art and music.

Recently, I’ve taken my first steps into the world of music production. This new chapter is incredibly exciting for me, as it allows me to bring my compositions to life in ways I had only imagined before. Each track I produce is a harmonious blend of my experiences and inspirations, designed to evoke vivid images and strong emotions in the listener.

One of my core missions as an artist is to create an environment that encourages everyone to get excited about art and to create their own, regardless of skill level. Art should be an inclusive space where creativity is celebrated and nurtured. I’m passionate about breaking down the barriers that often prevent people from exploring their artistic potential, and I strive to inspire others to embark on their own creative journeys.
